Very dense and heavy ciabatta
Had to put it in the bin not edible at all
Texture has changed?
This is our favorite bread and we buy it regularly(2-3times a week). However, last two orders(5, 7 May), I found the size of the bread was smaller, therefore the texture was more dense. I hope it is temporary as I much prefer the previous version.
Authentic but very thick and tall
This is a great ciabbata. I normally buy the M&S ciabatta loaf which is nice but not really proper ciabatta - this one from Celtic Bakers really is. Its perhaps a little too dense/not quiet aerated enough but in texture and flavour its spot on. It toasts or grills wonderfully and the crust is perfect. The load is enormous, enough to make 3 or 4 really huge sandwiches so its also great value. The only downside really is that its so thick and tall that its hard to make sandwiches that aren't 90% bread and that you can actually fit in your mouth!

Brilliant bread
I love the size of this ciabatta. It freezes so well and has a delicious crust after being warmed in the oven.
