Storage

Keep refrigerated below 5ºC until use by date as displayed on the label. Once opened consume within 24 hours. Suitable for freezing. Freeze on day of purchase and use within one month. Do not refreeze once defrosted.

Preparation and Usage

Melt butter in a non-stick pan over a medium to high heat until the butter starts bubbling.

Season the trout portions and add them to the pan skin side down and fry until the skin is golden brown and most of the flesh has changed colour with just to the top uncooked. Turn the portions over, squeeze on some lemon juice and cook for a further 1-2 minutes.
