Please don't grill!
1 Pre-heat oven. Remove all packaging, leaving the pie in its dish. For best results, brush the pastry with milk or whisked egg.
2 Place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven (away from any element or flame) and cook for 30 mins until the pastry turns golden brown.
3 Leave to stand for 4 mins before serving in its dish. Be careful, the dish will be hot. Make sure it's piping hot.
This recipe includes some raw ingredients and isn't suitable for microwaving. If frozen, defrost thoroughly before cooking.

Beautiful!!
This pie was amazing! Really tasty and beautifully presented! I loved it!! Highly recommend!!
posh pie let us down
Expected much better from this brand and when normal price. Bought on flash sale to try but whilst presentation is lovely and the pastry rose beautifully, there is little flavour, too much liquid rather watery than thick and creamy. Not bad amount of chicken but was a little tough. Wont buy again at full price and will stick to pieminster, different style but incredible flavour comparison.
Ceramic bowls make excellent cat food dishes
I really like the pie, but the main reason I am splurging on it again is one of the cats bowls just broke. I've found these are the perfect size and shape for my cat, and as they come with a bonus pie for me it's a bonus!
Too much liquid
I usually like Charlie Bingham products but unfortunately not, it would seem, their pies. Whilst well presented, the ceramic dish was unnecessary & wasteful (am I going to get a dish every time I eat one of their pies?!) & the pie was far too large with too much liquid. Whilst the chicken itself was nice, there was too little if it as it was drowned in sauce. They would be better off making a smaller pie with the same amount of meat) &, ditching the dish (which would reduce costs). Disappointing
Great pie
I have often had this pie and always found that it is a good size ceramic dish full of tender white cubes of chicken. The white creamy mushroom sauce is both flavoursome and smooth. All covered in by a really lovely flakey puff pastry. I’ve just been lucky enough to reorder on a flash sale which is a help as they are expensive normally, but worth it.
What happened to the two-pack?
Love these pies, but the pricing has gone crazy - used to be able to buy a pack of two for £9.50, now they cost £12 for two or £11 when on offer. Cant justify the cost any more, whereas these used to be a regular purchase :(
