Please don't grill!
1 Pre-heat oven. Remove all packaging, leaving the pie in its dish. For best results, brush the pastry with milk or whisked egg.
2 Place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven (away from any element or flame) and cook for 30 mins until the pastry turns golden brown.
3 Leave to stand for 4 mins before serving in its dish. Be careful, the dish will be hot. Make sure it's piping hot.
This recipe includes some raw ingredients and isn't suitable for microwaving. If frozen, defrost thoroughly before cooking.

Nice dish of C and M
It's a pie. But it's a good pie. Bits of chicken, veg and gravy stuff, with a nice crust. I'm not pie-mad (at all!), but these are handy as a stand-by.

This is a lovely pie, a little bit fancy with its dish. I did buy it on flash sale and think its a little pricey at full ask.

Ruined a delicious pie
I always had these to hand for an easy meal when not wanting to cook. Delicious. Then they changed the packs from 2 pies in ramekins with a fluffy big crust on top, to 1 pie in a tray with crust all round which is soggy and doesnt taste anywhere near as nice for a 30% price increase. So much for not compromising on quality.. Such a shame
