This recipe includes some raw ingredients and isn't suitable for microwaving. If frozen, defrost thoroughly before cooking.
1 Pre-heat oven. Remove pie from the box (still in its case). For best results, brush the pastry with milk or whisked egg.
2 Place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven (away from any element or flame) and cook for 30 mins until the pastry turns golden brown.
3 Leave to stand for 2 mins. Remove pie from the case by using scissors to make a cut from the rim downwards to the base, or by slowly pulling the edges of the case away from the pie. Make sure it's piping hot.

Horrible
I agree 100% with the previous review! «This pie has seriously slipped through quality control. Hardly any filling and spot the mushroom. Sauce overpowering. Too much pastry. Little chicken and what was there was poor quality. Sorry but this pie was vile. No where near CB normal standard».

So disappointing
I cooked this in a combination microwave oven and the top burned. The filling was very runny with only a few pieces of chicken. There was one piece of mushroom with the rest as tiny bits in the sauce. So disappointing especially as it was £5 for one serving.
Pie has been changed!
This used to be a really nice tasty pie with beautiful puff pastry and a decent amount of filling however, the pastry has now been changed with what looks like shortcrust pastry and the ceramic dish has been replaced with a paper type muffin cup. Im not sure I would still recommend. Not worth 5 pound anymore.

What an improvement on the old pies. Pastry is so light and what great flavours would definitely recommend.

I brought this thinking it was big enough for 2 people (I should of read info). £5 for 1 portion is extortionate! Never again.
