buy pie get a ramekin
I cant lie I love the puff pastry lid A bit small as a pie Filling not on a par with less expensive pies (horrible little perfectly square tiny bits of carrot) and a little bit of meat in a bowl But Frey bentos dont give you a ramekin to use after eating But Id still choose a Frey bentos steak and kidney next time and use the tin for something And save about £4 Glad I got this in a flash sale not worth the extra £££ imho
good, not exceptional
Which a lot of chucks products are. Surprised to see someone saying small. I usually eat c bs dinners on my own and managed this comfortably but certainly didnt want any more. Nice pastry as with the other pie I had from this producer but not overly enamoured w the filling. I shouldnt complain on a flash sale purchase which represented excellent value and I would buy again if reduced but preferred I think it was a chicken one I had before

Yes a very tasty pie but so small. I could eat two of these they are so tiny. Lovely steak and gravy if not a bit too peppery.
Pam
I buy your lovely dishes all the time ..I was really looking forward to your steak and ale pie tonight ..unfortunately it wasn't up to your usual standard their was far too much pepper in it which completely spoilt the tae of the steak which was very sparse .. I would also advise 220 temperature is far to high very disappointed
very tasty, with plenty of meat
I enjoy a good steak pie, and this one was really exceptional. I will buy it again
gastro food
Wow, this is amazing. If they served this at a gastropub, I wouldnt know its ready-made.
