CJ Wildlife Garden Bird Seed Mix 3L (1.8KG)
Unfortunately the birds in my garden only liked the black sunflower seeds and not the rest. Its a small bag and weighs just 1.8kg which makes it quite expensive. I certainly wouldnt buy this again.
All the birds love this
As soon as I go to fill the bird feeder I can see all the local birds waiting patiently for me to hang it up. They queue up with much flapping of wings hoping to get their turn at the food and the feeder is usually empty by 6pm. Hope to see this one on offer soon…….hint to Ocado!
I now have tiny bugs everywhere
Like another reviewer I have only just realised where the tiny bugs in my kitchen and sometimes adjoining room have come from, looking at photos I think they are maize weevils. I have no words to describe how horrified I am, I also have a phobia of bugs in general.
TOO MUCH WHEAT
I have been buying this regularly for a while now but had to stop as the wheat just isn’t being eaten by any of the birds - including the Wood Pigeons, which surprises me. My garden is just covered with the stuff rotting away. Time to find a new seed I think.
Complete with live bugs
Finally identified the seed bag as the source of little black bugs crawling around my kitchen. The seeds themselves seem popular with the birds but I'm not best pleased
Weevils
Tiny weevils crawling around inside the bag. I'm sure the birds don't mind but don't want them in the kitchen!! Apart from that it's great seed but lots of small dusty bits at the bottom.
