Preparation and Usage
Step 1: Prepare
Protect your clothing with an old towel. Wearing the gloves provided in your kit, pour the contents of bottle 1 into bottle 2. Shake thoroughly until fully blended.
Step 2: Apply
Starting at the roots, apply colour mixture immediately all over dry, unwashed hair. Work the colour through your hair to ensure full saturation. Leave colour on for 20 minutes.
Step 3: Finish
When time has elapsed, rinse until water runs clear. Follow with the deep conditioner in bottle 3. Leave on for 2 minutes. Rinse. Use remaining Colour Treat Conditioner once a week after shampooing.
Tips and Tricks:
As it is a semi-permanent hair dye, this means that your hair can go darker, stay at your same level of lightness and/or add tones & hues, but you cannot lighten your natural colour. If you want to go lighter or completely cover greys, choose a permanent hair colour. When using a semi-permanent shade, stick to 1 to 2 shades lighter or darker than your natural colour. Colour on top of colour tends to look darker. If in doubt, always choose 1 shade lighter than what you think you are naturally. If it's too light, you can always go darker next time.

Decent
I've used a lot of permanent dyes but this is the 1st semi permanent I've tried. It did not leave my hair with the lingering chemical smell that I often get with other products. The ash colour is good for me. The grey coverage - and I have got about 30% grey-has been much better than I expected. 3 weeks on, swimming twice a week and washing my hair 5 times a week, the grey is now fading through.

Nice colour - not too dark and covered my greys well but this didnt last longer than 4-5 washes :(

Didn\x27t cover my roots
Whilst I loved the smell of this hair dye and the fact that it's more gentle, I dyed my hair (all over) on the Monday, and after I washed it the following Wednesday the roots didn't really have enough coverage - they were still slightly grey showing through. I also thought the ends of my hair felt very dry when shampooing it, although once the conditioner was on it felt fine. I did really like the colour of the dye - but disguising my roots is very important to me and I don't want to be doing it more often than I have to, so coverage is key.

lovely colour and covers greys
I have quite a lot of grey and worried this wouldnt work as it is for blending first greys. Covers well without having that really fake feel.

Great product
... and it received the seal of approval from my hairdresser following my using it during the last lockdown! Please note however that, contrary to what is quoted on the product info page, the instructions contained within the pack clearly state that it should be applied to "dry, unwashed hair" not damp hair.

Really pleased
Used this to touch up my roots. Product was easy to use, smelt nice, especially the conditioner and really pleased with the results. I have already added another one to my trolley, in case I need to do some more DIY hairdressing during lockdown.
