Great product
I tried this after reading the reviews and I wasn't disappointed. It takes on other flavours well, so it's a useful substitute for mince based recipes. I've used it a few times and tend to rehydrate it with vegetable stock. A handy product to have in the cupboard.
tasty, convenient and great value
This is my favourite vegan mince on offer at Ocado. Tastes good, though as others have noted, you need to season well - I recommend rehydrating in veg stock with plenty of dried herbs. Love that it can be kept in the cupboard for months and quickly rehydrated when needed, rather than being a chilled product that can go off. And it isnt too processed either.
So glad I tried this
I tried this based on the good reviews. So glad I did. So easy. I just soaked in veg stock and a splash of soy sauce. Then added my veg to a wok and pulses and then after draining the mince added that along with some red wine to simmer. Then added chopped tomatoes and some dark chocolate. Had it with rice. It was lush. Healthy too. Very versatile.
excellent meat alternative
First time purchase but will definitely re oder. Very versatile in different dishes and takes on the flavour of whatever sauce you are cooking.
Really good
I tried this as an alternative to pork mince for some asian dishes and it was genuinely better than meat. Super easy to prepare, really tasty, takes up flavour well, texture is good. Highly recommend.
Best soya mince
Such good texture and easy to prepare. Kids love it too - when prepared properly you wont know the difference between meat and this. Season well!
