OK but doesn't go far
I tried cooking pasta for two people with this sauce and there was hardly any flavour, so just be aware it doesn't go very far.
Complaints
There has never been a truer phrase than "You can't please all of the people all of the time" ! So many of these review complaints really get on my nerves especially on products that are exceptionally good. Moan, moan moan ! Well does M&S, continue providing us with quality.
Delicious
Makes a fantastic pasta sauce. Really flavourful and a good texture. Think Ill use it in a pie filing next.
Unpleasant sauce
Simple fried mushroom in butter & garlic in hot pan vastly better. And then you could add own cream, sherry etc if you want
read the ingredients list first veggies
Why dont all you veggies read the ingredients list first? Your ratings are just an indication of your IQ rather than the product quality.
why isn\x27t it vegetarian?
I bought this on a flash sale. It never occurred to me that it would contain 'beef bones'. I noticed it smelled unpleasant when it was heating, checked the label - and then had to throw it away. Why on earth make a mushroom sauce with cow in it? M&S, you really need to get up to date with food trends.
