Preparation and Usage
Pour the biscuit mix into the bowl and add 1/2 and egg and 40g room temp butter. Mix together for 1-2 mins with a spoon until combined. Sprinkle a little flour on a clean dry surface and knead the dough with your hands for a few minutes until you have a firm ball. If you have time wrap the dough in cling film and place in the fridge for 30 minutes to chill - this will make it easier to roll and cut. Pre heat your oven to 180C. Use your cutter to cut out your shapes, push it down, give it a wiggle then pull up. Place the dough shapes onto your baking tray (leave a little space between each one). Keep rolling and cutting until all the dough is gone. Bake for approximately 8-10 minutes or until golden. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before decorating. Now its time to decorate your biscuits using the icing pens provided.

Missing one tube of icing
For such a small kit, missing a tube and of green icing feels rather disappointing. Otherwise ok.
Tiny set could be much better with a bigger cutter
Its a nice little set but the cutter makes biscuits that are a maximum of 6cm by 2cm so they are tiny and really hard to get the dough head and tail out onto a baking sheet, and decorate, even for little hands. I would have paid a bit more for a bigger cutter.
overpriced
Seems like its the wrong quantities - cookies turned out with way too much butter - so overpriced for what it is
Great activity to do with kids
I made these biscuits with my three year old and we really enjoyed it - the kit comes with small cutters (easy for small hands to use), biscuit mix and a small tube of icing. The biscuits were pleasant, albeit nothing special, but the kit is easy to use and provided twenty minutes of a fun activity on a rainy day!
Expensive but good
I really liked this! Yes £6 is expensive for what it is, but my 3 year old loved it and it was easy for him to make. The cutter is small so you get lots of little biscuits and he had fun mixing and then decorating. I wouldnt but the same again as we have the cutter now but would get a different one or give as a gift.
poor value
Big box of not a lot! Cutter is absolutely tiny. Small bag of mix. Poor value for £6.
