The ones I had bought from Co op were much nicer. I see some of the other reviews mentioning Chinese pine nuts and this could be the issue. If youre charging premium prices, make sure its a premium product
I'm confused by all the bad reviews as our packs are always very good. We mainly use them in pesto or to roast them with a little salt for a healthy snack. Also on my description it states that these are Chinese pine nuts so for me there was origin named but maybe has changed since not sure?
Origin of Pine nuts must be listed
Tastes like Chinese pine nuts rather than the creamy Mediterranean pine nuts however origin is not listed on label! It goes against UK mandatory labelling regulations not to list origin of these pine nuts. It is illegal not to list origin of food ingredients, not just where it is packaged. Why don’t brands want to declare where their ingredients are from unless there is something to hide?
Good pine nuts
These are good pine nuts, tasty and do the job but very expensive.
What is the origin of these pine nuts, manufactured in London doesn't really help
allergy warning incomplete on listing
Packaged in a factory handling peanuts, tree nuts and sesame - not mentioned on listing.
