Linguette are typical of northern Italy. These crunchy flatbreads are an antipasti staple of Liguria and Piemonte, easily recognised sitting proud and tall in restaurant bread baskets and by the lattice of pinpricked holes on top, imprinted to keep them thin and crisp while baking.

Bought on flash sale out of curiosity. Not for us so I won't buy again, but perfectly pleasant salty, multigrain flatbread.

Plastic excess but taste okay

We are vegan for the planet and our health and when these were on flash sale, with all the good reviews, we tried them. Taste fine but the overwrapping and use of plastic- tray not recyclable in our district, is abominable. I am surprised that no one else commented on this. All plastic ends up in poor countries and then the sea, so we should not be supporting its use.
