Linguette are typical of northern Italy. These crunchy flatbreads are an antipasti staple of Liguria and Piemonte, easily recognised sitting proud and tall in restaurant bread baskets and by the lattice of pinpricked holes on top, imprinted to keep them thin and crisp while baking.

A great cracker

These are really nice with some cream cheese or houmous on top, and perfect size to good in your hand as an after dinner snack. Really nice balance of flavour and crispness.

These are quite large - not a problem though, more to enjoy! They taste great on their own, dipped in soup, or hummus or with any topping
