Crosta & Mollica Tiramisu Twin Pack 220g

Of all Italy's famous dishes, Tiramisù arguably best represents the country's joyful and generous approach to food; ours is no exception.
Traditional savoiardi biscuits are soaked in espresso coffee and sweet but potent Marsala wine, before being layered with rich mascarpone cream. Finally, a dusting of dark cocoa brings a slightly bitter contrast to the sweet centre. For moments when only out-and-out indulgence will do.

Easily The Best Shop Bought Tiramisu
This is the most authentic tiramisu-like dessert you can purchase off the shelf. Simply wonderful. Full of flavour, moist, and decadent. Two one star reviews saying how disgusting this is seem suspect. Both claim to be Italian. Being Italian doesnt automatically mean you know good Tiramisu. Just as I know plenty of British people who wouldnt know a good roast dinner if it slapped them in the face. My ex partner was Italian and Ive spent many years in Italy, and this is a good Tiramisu. Its obviously not the quality of a top restaurant in Venice, but this is supermarket bought. Honestly, its excellent. And the alcohol isnt remotely overpowering for goodness sake.
all you can taste is alcohol
I'm Italian and had high hopes as generally crosta & mollica have fairly decent products. this is not one of them. it's soggy, and all you can taste is the alcohol. very disappointed
2* ONLY FOR TASTE
I would have given this a full 5, but too much chemicals and fructose, I didn't even mind the cane sugar, which I can have, but then they added glucose, which isn't necessary. It makes no difference, like adding MSG as an enhancer, but it would still be tasty without. What is the purpose for these added additives? Hmm... Longer shelve life? If that's the case, it can't be healthy for me. Won't be buying again.
Nice Tiramisu
Probably the best Tiramisu available currently on Ocado far superior to the M&S version but it is more expensive than the M&S one. The only thing I dislike is the ingredient list of added chemicals including 6 additives to avoid making this a UPF pudding so I guess it will be an occasional purchase.
Delightful!
I have had a pack of these in my freezer for a couple of months. I used them this weekend and both my friend and I thought they were absolutely delicious. I did allow them to defrost just sat on the kitchen worktop in two dishes. I served them with a small jug of double cream. They were absolutely delicious, such a soft interior with a crispy bottom layer. The coffee could have been more pronounced but even so I will be buying them again, so handy to have in the freezer. The addition of some double cream which mixed beautifully with the coating was so yummy!
very nice
I tried to make this desert but these are better, so so good.
