my favourite white
I love this - creamy, toasty, loads of flavour.. I've never had a bad bottle and I buy this regularly.
Very decent Chardonnay
For a chardonnay costing £8.50, also sometimes on offer for £7.00 you cant complain. Yes maybe it was better when they used corks but its still pretty good.
Has a lovely nose ... but zero finish. Very disappointing, and the rest of the bottle has been degraded as cooking wine.
I bought this wine based on the reviews and I am a huge fan of Chardonnay. This wine was so sweet that it was undrinkable, I threw it away.
Not the same wine beware of 2015 crop & screw cap
Such a shame, the 2014 vintage with a cork was a great example of a Californian chardonnay. Sadly the 2014 vintage is done and with the 2015 comes a screw cap and if you carefully read the label its no longer bottled in the US but UK. Now a totally different wine, if you like something tinny, thin with a sharp aftertaste this is for you but not if you like a creamy, toasty and oaky chardonnay. A nasty cheap example of what was previously a great wine at a bargain price. To find something comparable to the 2014 you'll need to spend upwards of £15 or go to a specialist importer.
