Inedible
Having enjoyed other ready meals from Daylesford we were shocked at how awful this one was. Terrible texture, and the taste was like watered down bolognese. Absolutely disgusting!
not nice
texture and taste are poor
close but not quite.
This is the first GF Lasagne I have had since being diagnosed with coeliac disease. In all fairness it's not bad at all. but I wouldn't rush back to it. My gold standard was and still is the m&s lasagne al forno. The Daylesford one I found didn't cook quite as firm as my favourite. now this could be down to the gf pasta involved. the suggested cooking temp/time or the bamboo oven tray it comes in. If I did get it again I think I'd cook it hotter for longer. Aside from it's lack of firmness my other main quibble would be it's not meaty enough. these though are personal opinions. You may prefer a slightly less meaty and more softer texture lasagne. overall not bad. but room for improvement.
It's GLUTEN FREE!
Poorly labelled product, only in the small print does it state it's gluten free! if I'd have known I wouldn't have bought it. The taste is very nice, but it's structure is very loose which makes it hard to plate up without making a mess.
unpleasant. AVOID
watery and worse than tasteless. tastes off. AVOID
Undersalted
Under-salted to the point of unpleasantness. Might be acceptable to someone used to a low salt diet, but otherwise avoid (or give to the magpies visiting your birdtable, who seem to like it).
