The best marmalade.
This isnt too sweet, or too bitter. Yes its expensive, yes its a smallish jar, but it is so good. Nice thick chunks too. Which brings me to my only complaint, there arent enough of them. Other than that its the best marmalade Ive ever had. Treat yourself. Tea, toast, and marmalade are one of lifes joys.
not thick cut as stated
This marmalade is not thick cut as stated very disappointed
This is how marmalade should be
I rarely write reviews but this is so good I felt I had to. Whilst undoubtedly expensive it is absolute perfection for a true marmalade lover (in the sense of someone who likes the real thing rather than the overly sweet commercial versions) It has just the right balance of sweetness to bitterness and an even distribution of peel (reasonably thickly cut). It tastes like a high quality home made marmalade and compares with Frank Coopers vintage coarse cut which Ocado sadly stopped stocking, but I think Daylesfords is even better.
The best
This is extremely expensive but undoubtedly the best if you love a good quality marmalade. You can see the size - 227g - so it’s a small jar. I’ve not come across anything as good
Hardly any chunks
I was wondering if this marmalade would be good.......no, hardly any actual chunks of peel at all. Very disappointed. Will not buy again and will return to my Tiptree Reduced sugar variety.
TOO EXPENSIVE
Although the ingredients is good quality and organic the cost is still far beyond any other make. I feel much of the cost is wasted on the unnecessary fancy jar. (My opinion)
