Expensive and without flavour
Bought these instead of my regular sardines in the hope of saving timing deboning, but found that they were lacking in flavour. Wouldn't buy again
Delicious
Tasted fresh and there were no bones in mine. Not too much oil to drain off
Very smelly!
Sadly, I never even got to try these - as soon as I opened the box they were in, there was a horribly strong fishy smell, with oil on the outside of the can. Obviously the smell was much stronger when the can was opened. There were unappetising dark red bits on the fish, so I wonder if the seal had broken somewhere along the line? Couldnt face eating them anyway
Does what it says on the tin
These are sardines that come without bones and without skin. The quality of the sardines themselves is good, so I feel this product delivers on what it promises. They are also in olive oil, which is a must. However, I personally prefer to have the skin and the bones. I like the taste of the sardines' skin and bones, with the satisfying crunch; without it, sardines have a bland taste. Therefore I prefer to buy something like John West's and I could not justify spending almost 4 times as much for these. I will still leave 4 stars because I don't want to downvote a product only because it's not for me. If you're looking for boneless and skinless sardines and you're happy to pay the premium, then this product is for you.
