Raw bacon must be thoroughly cooked before being eaten.; Grill - From Chilled. Preheat grill to medium. Grill for 5-6 minutes, turn over halfway through cooking.; Shallow Fry - From Chilled. Preheat frying pan to medium. Fry for 4-5 minutes, turn over halfway through cooking.

tasty and crispy and nitrate free
This is so lovely! Not watery at all, it cooks much better in the frying pan not the air fryer as it dried out a little. This will be a treat I think though rather than a weekly regular due to the price but I would definitely recommend and buy it again.
No nitrates but plenty of white foam
Not as by nature as I imagined. Lots of watery white gunk came off. It was quite fatty too but that was easily removed. Once the gunk had been dabbed & scaped off, the bacon was tasty but I wont be buying again.

I was looking forward to this bacon as it’s made without nitrates. However, it burnt dreadfully whilst cooking and only the loin part was edible as the end bits were nothing but fat, not even akin to streaky bacon. Very disappointed with this and glad I only paid a flash sale price. Sneaky how the packaging hides the fatty ends. Will not be buying this again - very poor

Love Denhay bacon, hate nitrates
I've been really disappointed to learn quite how appalling nitrates are for health, given how delicious bacon is... and we only buy high welfare bacon, too, who didn't have a nitrate free option before. Denhay bacon is the best, and so we're delighted they sell this now. Reliably delicious and not so carcinogenic the WHO say you should never eat it, either! Win all round.
