History
One of the oldest members of Champagne's prestigious Grandes Marques houses Champagne Deutz of Ay, France has been making distinctive champagnes since 1838. Owning 42ha of its own vineyards Deutz selects only top rated grapes from vineyards in the finest crus of Champagne, the wines are carefully aged in the chalk cellars beneath the historic village of Ay. The unique bottle shape guarantees the provenance of every bottle of Deutz Champagne.
Regional Information
The grapes are harvested in Ay, Cotes des Blancs, and Montagne de Reims, with over 80% of the grapes coming from vineyards that are rated Premier or Grand Cru. For some years the company has employed a policy of sustainable viticulture, cutting down on the use of chemicals, reducing yields and increasing grape quality.

Vinification Details
Only the first press must, cuvée, is used. The wine is fermented in small, 10,000 litre tanks, with each plot being vinified separately, all the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation. After the assemblage, the wines are left to age on the lees for around 3 years. Brut Rosé is a blend of the finest Pinot Noir grands crus from the Montagne de Reims, with a touch of Chardonnay.

Sublime

Buy it. Now! You wont be disappointed. Great pale colour, not too sweet and goes great with most things youd have with rose champagne. My favourite fizz by far.

Quality champagne

A very highly regarded, though lesser known (in the UK), champagne house. The rose has a slight sweetness and summer fruit flavours. Perfect as an aperitif, but with enough body to serve with food, especially seafood. Absolute steal at £40.

Really nice

I happened to discover this on huge offer here on Ocado, and Im so glad I did. This was a really delightfully dry rose champagne. Its not sweet, not too fruity, just overall pleasant with really good mouth feel. For reference I usually enjoy brut nature or extra brut champagnes.
