Bait and switch

Used to be good, the "new recipe" has hardly any sauce, the result is bland and stodgy. This should not be advertised as the same product

Purchase The Separate Packets

I like Dolmio's microwavable pasta and the tomato & basil sauce. If you like the normal pouches please do not purchase this. The sauce tastes like a dusty bland basil. No tomato flavour. The pasta is just a mush. There was a puddle of oil in the bottom of the packet. A mushy, bland, oily mess.

Barely edible

I didn't have high expectations, but somehow I still managed to be disappointed. I opened the packet and found a tiny portion of pasta, maybe a child sized portion, but it isn't advertised as being for children? It looks absolutely nothing like on the packet either, it's just mushy pasta in a flavourless red paste.

Tasty and convenient

Like the chilli version, this is an incredibly convenient idea to provide a speedy meal when you need one! Tasty enough on its own, and easy to jazz up with some veg, salad, herbs or whatever you choose.

Comfort food

I love these for times when I realise I havent eaten all day and need something fast. Some may find this flavour a little bland but I am so happy they are stocked here now. I must have 10 packets in the cupboard!!

Worse than my already low expectations

Was not expecting much from these but tried them when they were on a 2 for 1 offer. Look I know this is a quick microwave 'meal' and wasn't expecting restaurant quality but these were absolutely disgusting. Just tasted like rubber, basil was non-existent and the 'tomato' tasted more like toilet duck. The chilli version was fine but I wouldn't recommend this one to anybody.
