Preparation and Usage
Pre-warm your coffee jug with boiled water.
Add coffee to filter: one dessert spoon per person depending on how strong you like your coffee.
Shake the filter to level the coffee then slowly pour a little hot water into the centre.
After the 'bloom', when the coffee swells, continue to slowly pour the rest of the water through the grounds.
Allow all of the water to filter through, then remove filter.
Serve, share and enjoy!

Surprisingly good
I got this on a flash sale, and as it was a very good price for a kilo of coffee, I decided to give it a try. It was surprisingly good! Better and less bitter than many of the fancy brands I try it again on sale.
nearly out of date
Unlike the last 50 odd reviews I have NOT received this item for free. I would normally refuse to buy the product when so many haven’t paid but it was on a flash sale so thought I’d see if all the positive reviews were biased in favour of the reviewers continuing to receive free stuff. Well, first off it arrives with only 1 month of life left so the coffee has been in the bag for a year and a half. I use a filter machine and to be fair the coffee is okay while drinking it. But it left an unpleasant taste in my mouth once finished. Please stop the practice of free products for reviews.

I enjoyed this! I love a strong coffee and found this had a nice gentle caramel flavour, smooth with no bitterness. Packaging was easy to open and close too.
Good all\-rounder
I was sent a sample of this to review by Ocado, and have found it a very good everyday coffee, well-balanced with nice toasty notes. Works fine in a cafetière and also in an Italian stovetop espresso-maker. Good value.
Really good strong coffee
I was sent this to review and I actually used it in a cafetière which I am not sure it is meant for. It made for a lovely strong coffee and I would purchase this again
