Was hot. Now want hotter!
Mrs bought me a bottle to go on donner kebabs as the sauce they deliver was dire. Well it blew my head off first time I tried it mixed into the kebab. 1 month later, I love a spoon of it neat with no food once a day or so just for the great initial taste and a few minutes tongue tingle. Will keep buying for the taste and my kebabs, its a really good sauce and has got me hooked. But also now looking for something hotter to push on for the next "chilli high". Really not that hot
You need to use a lot of it if you add it to a sauce and want a kick
Definitely hot enough
Its definitely hot enough but not OTT. Taste is subjective but I dont think you need anything hotter unless you nibble on ghost chillis for fun. Tastes nice enough for an encona sauce.
Best supermarket sauce (that is actually hot)
This sauce has a reasonable heat and lots of flavour and is the best supermarket sauce. Of course the heat level is subjective but i find it has heat without detracting from the flavour. It is good value for money at the price.
The Daddy of Supermarket Sauces
The title sums it up well as it has such a complete (non vinegar) flavour that it is really uncomparable to other shelf sauces...and I've tried them all and obscure sauces from the corners of the Internet. What lifts this above other sauces is not only its good chilli content, but that is works remarkably well as an addition add heat, without adding a strong acidic vinegar flavour, for instance, it blends like no other chilli sauce. If I was pushed for a negative, it would be the price, (vs other supermarket sauces) but this is easily overlooked given its superiority in every other category...
Hot stuff, but not deadly
Although this is made with the hottest chilli pepper in the world it's been tamed down here to something more palatable. It's hot, but it won't kill you..there are many other sauces out there that are hotter.
