Too salty - inedible
Far too salty. Even after rinsing they are inedible. Thrown away. Dont waste your money.
Waste
Not the classical Greek, they have a strange taste.
Dry salty whole olives
These are dry (i.e not in liquid) salty whole olives. They are not fragrant and fruity like Kalamata or Gaeta, but I like the strong punch of salty umamami. I put them in pasta puttanesca (which would probably get me tarred and feathered in Lazio) and Greek salad. You either like olives like this or you don't, but these seem a perfectly good example of salt-cured olives.
terrible
No. Just awful. Dont buy
Awful
Taste nothing like Greek olives. They are awful.
Should have read the reviews.
I agree with other reviewers. These smelt and tasted peculiar, stale and unpleasant. They are now in the bin. Also, my recipe recommended pitted olives to avoid stones. These 'pitted' olives had stones. I would like to know when is a pitted olive not pitted, if you see what I mean?
