weird taste

I love asparagus but this just doesn't taste right- I added chilli flakes and pepper, lemon juice but still had very weird flavour

good flavour

... but it IS TINNED & soft so seems at its best used in suitable dishes. For us that's drained, grated cheese over & microwaved for a quick light, tasty alternative to lunchtime sandwiches, for making asparagus sauce AND especially stirred into asparagus soup to make it tastier & more filling.

Did not like this at all bought 3 tins and all were woody and stringy they went into the bin such a shame

Handy in the pantry

A bit too soft for our liking, but flavoursome and handy to have in the cupboard as a meal accompaniment.
