Errazuriz Max Res Carmenere 75cl
Product information
Max Reserva Carmenère portrays the ultimate expression of the Max Vineyards in the Aconcagua Valley, the traditional home of Viña Errázuriz.
Vineyards: Soils of alluvial and colluvial origin at Max II provide fine tannins, intense colour and ripe black fruit, while the alluvial soils at Max V lend freshness and spiciness to the final blend.
Winemaking: Hand-picked grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in French and American oak barrels for 12 months.
Character: Dark violet colour with black pepper, sweet spices and chocolate. Well balanced wine with rounded tannins that lead to an intense and pleasant finish.

For those who like rough red!
Ghastly!
Nice wine but nothing special
A bit thin, disappointing at full price
Smooth and tasty
I don't drink often, so when I do, I like it to be worth it. This was most definitely worth it. I wish I'd brought more to an evenings celebrations as it was finished far too soon. No complaints until the bottle was empty, and then the complaints were about other wines not being as enjoyable. I've been asked to bring more next time. Well worth the on offer price, and I think I'd be comfortable to pay the regular price of £14 now and again.
agree with first reviewer
i was expecting more from this wine. Even at 11.99, the offer price, I'm not sure it's good value for money.
OK when special offer
I was expecting a delicious wine when it costs £15.99 at full price. However, I am sorry to say it was not as good as some Aldi wines at a third of the price. You have some strong competition Ocado, you're going to have to try a bit harder!
a very good wine
A lot better than I expected! Will buy again
