"I couldn’t tell you how many of these iconic Italian jars of tangy little cherries in lusciously thick syrup I’ve bought over the years, both for myself and for presents. They just say Christmas in Italy to me. They’re wonderful spooned over vanilla ice cream for a last-minute dessert, and they’re so intense that you don’t need much at a time, which means that even though they might seem a splurge initially, you get a great number of servings out of a jar. Also enthusiastically recommended as an accompaniment to cheesecake or for adding a black forest note to chocolate cake."- Nigella Lawson

oh lord
So good! Great on Greek youghurt
Delicious!
I bought these to use in a Mary Berry Christmas trifle. A great desert by the way. They are delicious, very rich. There are a lot in the jar, so go a long way.
Wow!
very intense but delicious. and beautifully packaged! purchased for a special dessert recipe.
Very nice… but don,t use lots.
I think these are very nice but they pack a bit of a punch if you use too many of them as the taste is very rich. My husband finds the strong flavour a bit over the top but when used sparingly and combined with something else such as ice cream he enjoys them.
Delicious!
Bought these first about a year ago having seen Nigella recommend them. They are really good, very rich so you dont need many per serving, and make sure you use all the syrup too. I serve them with sunken amaretto chocolate cake or a pavlova. Theyre also great on vanilla ice cream
Heaven in a pot!
These are amazing - the syrup is absolutely delicious! I served with vanilla ice cream and went back for a second helping. I'm looking forward to trying out a few home made cocktails at the weekend - pricey but worth it.
