Appearance: Clean, bright, straw-coloured. Nose: Fruity (pear, citric and tropical) & a slighty floral touch. Tasting: Nice and balanced on the palate, good acidity that gives freshness to the wine. Finish: Fruity hints.
History
The Faustino Group has a more than 150 years history of winemaking and is one of Rioja's most emblematic group of wineries, at both and international and domestic level. The company's philosophy that wine is made in the vineyard, its vocation as an exporter and the strength of its brands, especially those from Bodegas Faustino, need no introduction.
Regional Information
Faustino's Rioja wines are grown in Alavesa - the smallest region in Rioja with the best climate, highest rainfall, consistent sunshine and the best soil. Excellent qualities of the clayey-calcerous soil, together with an ideal micro-climate, provide ready access to high quality grapes including the renowned and rare Graciano. Only the best grapes are harvested.

A pleasant young white wine

I received this item for free in exchange for a review. Refreshing and light, easy to drink white wine. I would buy again, if the price was closer to £6/7.

Lovely refreshing and fairly light, will buy again

I'm reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado: This is a lovely refreshing and clean tasting wine, you get an essence of the pear/pineapple, it's subtle so it's not really fruity or sweet. It's nice and light. Will definitely buy it again, so very glad Ocado introduced it.

Light and drinkable

I am reviewing this product because Ocado gave me a free sample. It was very drinkable and crisp when chilled. I probably won't buy, as I much prefer reds.

Fresh \x26 Crisp

I am reviewing this product because Ocado gave me a free sample. Had this well chilled it was light and clean with a crisp green apple tone.
