Filotea Spaghettoni Durum Wheat Semolina Pasta – long, lean and super chunky, this is super-sized spaghetti that is impressive in stature and taste, goes well with nice, thick, meat or fish sauces. This pasta is made with 100% Italian durum wheat, bronze drawn and slow dried at low temperatures. 13% protein content, suitable for vegeterians and vegans.

Preparation and Usage
Hob - from ambient. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add salt to taste. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 11-13 minutes. Then, drain the pasta and immediately add your favourite condiments or sauces.

Delicious
Delicious pasta especially when cooked in boiling water which tastes like the sea (little Italian tip)
Lovely pasta
Sent this to review. Very tasty and seemed high quality. Quite pricy though so wouldn't buy unless on offer as cheaper products of nearly as good quality.
Liked the pasta NOT the packaging
It really is about time that ALL new products brought to market had to use eco or recyclable packaging. Only the cardboard on this product is recyclable. No guidance on the packaging about the plastic element, but can only assume it's not recyclable. Shame!
Thick, chewy and claggy
I was sent this to review. It is a classic case of style over substance. Even cooked al dente this goes really thick and it is unpleasant, not unlike rubber bands. Avoid.
Delicious
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I never thought I’d taste a pasta that was markedly different to other pastas. I usually buy a fairly decent branded pasta but this is in a different league! It’s a lot thicker, has a real chew to it (in a very good way) and it seems to soak up the flavour of the sauce it’s in (rather than just sitting in the sauce). Lovely flavour too.
