This elegant brut cava is crisp, clean and well-balanced. The fresh palate of apple, ripe pear and bright citrus flavours; combine with a long finish and an exciting touch of ginger.
Why not keep it simple and match Cordon Negro with barbequed Greek kebabs, or Mexican chicken fajitas. Also perfect with pasta dishes, all sort of tapas, and seafood.
Freixenet Cordon Negro is an award winning wine.

We often get this as a Friday treat to start the weekend. It's affordable and delicious. Try it once and you'll want more.
It is quite smooth, not bitter and not too sweet. It is a perfectly balanced prosecco. Definitely my favourite.
Always out of stock
Trying to buy this but although its available to put in my basket, it is out of stock for delivery. Tried every day for the next week. Why is it shown as available Ocado? As a cava, very good, especially when on offer...IF AVAILABLE! (Im obviously not the only one who thinks so given lack of availability.)
Good cavas for parties
Best tasting and smooth cava for the price range, esp when it has an offer!
esp if on offer
excellent VFM, better than a cheap champagne
I have tried this company's Vintage Especial and this. This is cheaper and, I think, richer and nicer. Ok, there are some champagnes I'd rather drink but for the price, it is superb. I have been drinking it off and on for years and was mildly pleased to see that it got a Which magazine top rating in December 2013.
