An amazing assault on the senses
This has really grown on me to the extent where I cant leave it alone! First mouthful was a socket. But its excellent. Firm crunchy, texture but not raw. Complex flavours and oh so sour. Yummmnmmm!!!!!
What a find!
These are so crunchy, and have a delicious taste, it's so easy to eat a lot.
Crunchy, tangy and delicious!
I have tried a lot of pickled veg and this is one of my all-time favourites. It is always good quality, with crunchy cauliflower pieces in a range of sizes. The pickling liquid is very well-balanced, imparting a tangy, slightly sweet, spiced flavour to the florets, as well as an impressive vibrant yellow colour. Cumin comes through particularly strongly, making the cauliflower perfectly suited to go alongside Indian food. It is on the pricy side but this is justified by the product’s high quality and delicious taste- I just have to force myself to ration it and only buy once in a while!
Always read the small print!
Pickling means preserving in vinegar. This is preserved in WATER, with a bit of vinegar added to get round the law. This would also avoid the complaints about being too sweet. They've even had the nerve to add a chemical preservative to make up for the shortage of vinegar. Actually tastes nice when first opened, but unless you look very carefully you don't see that it expires in 4 weeks, so a lot of it's going to end up having to be thrown away at £3.90 a bottle (as was mine!)
Too subtle for me
Couldn’t taste a thing, even the cauliflower was blander than normal.
Too sweet
Great texture... and do I like the taste profile ... however, it is far too sweet.
