An overly complicated idea
I was sent this to review and couldn't see the advantage of keeping the mask and serum separate. Most sheet masks a pre-soaked and I wasn't sure what this process adds. Having used the mask I'm sure it doesn't add anything. The process of adding the mask to the serum didn't work as per the instructions, I had to add it manually. Once on the mask was fine, nothing amazing but fine. I will stick to my pre-soaked sheet masks
Good for a treat
I received this to review and gave it to my teenage daughter to try as she loves face masks. It's not easy to get all the serum onto the mask but once on she found it very comfortable on her skin and enjoyed the sensation of the serum. It didn't irritate like some masks can and left her skin soft and clear. It's quite expensive compared to other masks but it seems to work well and is fun to use. Good for a treat.
Refreshing but no miracle worker
I was sent this product in exchange for an honest review. I actually popped this in the fridge before using on one of those super hot days we had recently and it felt lovely on. I didn't really notice any real impact on my skin, but it did not cause me any irritation either (although I do not have sensitive skin). I don't know that I would regularly purchase, but it was great for giving myself a little treat at the end of a hot afternoon, and for making me block out a little time to relax!
Effective but pricey
I was sent this to review. Fiddley to mix together. Let skin feeling soft and refreshed but I don't think its worth the price
Fun but ineffective
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I used mine an hour before bedtime, having never used a tissue mask before. Squeezing the rolled up sachet to release the serum onto the tissue didn’t work for me, so I ended up putting it flat on the bathroom floor and squeezing it gently with my foot. Not glamorous, but it worked. The mask itself felt pleasant and cooling on the skin — nice on a hot day — and it smelt fresh. After a 15 minute relax, I removed the tissue and allowed the serum to dry on my skin. (Removing it with cotton wool pads is also an option.) This is where things started going downhill a bit, as the sensation of the gel drying on my skin was frankly unpleasant. Neither did I feel very moisturised, in comparison with my normal bedtime regime. Conclusion? It was fun to try, but I wouldn’t buy again.
