For Italians living without pasta is not an option and so we set ourselves the objectives of creating a gluten free pasta with the knowledge that Garofalo pasta is synonymous with the experience of taste.
In 2013 the recipe was carefully developed using corn, brown rice and quinoa. Garofalo Gluten Free Pasta is formulated specially for Coeliacs and the gluten intolerant, but also gives a taste opportunity for everyone and not just those on a gluten free diet.
Garofalo Gluten Free pasta is not produced in its factory in Gragnano because of the risk of contamination with pasta containing wheat. Our gluten free pasta is bronze drawn to obtain a rough surface to the pasta for the sauce to grip the pasta.
In 2013 we launched with 5 pasta shapes chosen because they worked well with the recipe, now there are 11 gluten free pasta shapes in our range, giving great choice as well as taste!

Delicious
My whole family enjoy this pasta, and its gluten free.
Clumps quickly, but tastes good.
I'm reviewing this product because I've got a free sample form Ocado. Clumps quickly, but tastes good.
Contains Trans Fats \- Mono\-and Diglycerides
I have been told by my dietician to avoid Mono-and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids (sometimes listed as E471) because this means the product contains Trans Fats. No amount of trans fats are healthy and coeliacs in particular need to be extra careful. I've seen GF pasta that doesn't contain this emulsifier so it's not necessary. Can you take it out of the ingredients or use the sunflower lecithin emulsifier instead?
Lovely gluten free pasta
This is the best gluten free pasta I've tried. It's light and delicious too. Perfect alternative thank you 😊.
tastes just like normal pasta
I was offered this product by Ocado for review. I was a bit sceptical as I had heard that gluten free pasta can be very heavy. This tasted just like normal pasta, my family didnt notice any difference. Will buy again when we have gluten free visitors.
Gluten free
Reviewing a free sample. I regularly buy Garafalo pasta & really like the taste & texture. I wasn’t overly keen on the texture of the gluten free version but I might have overcooked it but if you are gluten intolerant I would recommend you try this.
