not gnocchi
this is essentially just pasta shells - nice pasta shells but not gnocchi so i had to buy actual gnocchi in addition to for my recipe. Handy for making minestrone soup. Nice pasta but not what i expected.
Favourite pasta shape
I make a sausage, garlic, chilli and white wine one pot pasta dish with this (no tomato sauce), adding chicken stock to cook the pasta. Best shape for non-tomato pasta dishes in my humble opinion.
perfect for kids!
And for adults too :) It cooks lovely, the taste is subtle, no gluey stickiness! Nice size, sauces can fill these shells for extra flavour. We love it.
Very nice pasta
This pasta is great! It is similar shape to gnocchi, but dont get confused, it is still pasta and is not made of potatoes! It works very nicely with sauces as it gets inside those shells.
Really good pasta
Love the unusual shape. I used to substitute fresh gnocchi in a recipe as happy is not a fan. Cooked and mixed with mushroom, spinach, cream and parmesan. The end product was amazing!
Nice Pasta Shells
These are nice pasta shells that are slightly different to the normal run of the mill pasta shells
