Nice Pasta Shells
These are nice pasta shells that are slightly different to the normal run of the mill pasta shells
Not a suitable substitute for gnocchi
When my gnocchi was out of stock, this came up and I ordered it. It is not gnocchi as youd expect - theyre pasta shells, so the meal plan is disrupted.
Not bad but...
These were smaller than I expected and rather fiddly to eat. After the low end of the recommended cooking time, they were also a little mushy. Beware that they need VERY though draining or they will dump large amounts of water into your lovingly prepared sauce - obvious in retrospect...
Great for bakes
Always buy this for pasta bakes, as it holds its shape and flavour during the longer cooking times needed and the size is ideal.
They expand once cooked, and don't keep their shape
