Good quality

A good shave
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Reviews are often subjective, so to provide some kind of comparison I tested the Labs blade against my existing Fusion. Both have 5 blades for shaving whilst the Fusion has an additional blade on the reverse for trimming sideburns. Both of the 5 blade cartridges work equally well and I couldn’t tell the difference shaving half my face with Labs and half with Fusion. Fortunately I didn’t cut myself with either the Labs or Fusion in the week’s testing undertaken. Blade longevity and effectiveness will of course vary depending on the thickness of hair and soap used but I have no concerns about the quality of the cartridge. Handles – I had to purchase a Labs handle to use the blades and whilst it works very well I did drop the razor whilst shaving in the shower. The handle is slightly slimmer and has noticeably fewer ribs (than the Fusion) for gripping with a soapy hand. I prefer the larger Fusion handle for my size 10 hands. Labs and Fusion have differing exfoliating/hair lifting strips before the blades and I was unable to tell the difference in practice. Labs doesn’t have the sideburn trimmer which I have become used to on the Fusion. This, and the handle size mean that I will continue using the Fusion. Labs may suit someone with smaller hands but be aware that the blade cartridge doesn’t come with the trim blade. The Labs system is very good, however for me the Fusion is better.
Really close shave
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado, great quality razor blades, give you a really close shave without ripping your skin apart
Expensive but very good blades
Received free for an honest review. Though these are very expensive they really are good and way better than any other blades I've used previously. Would highly recommend especially if on offer as £40 is a lot of money at full price!
