Best sun lotion
I'm a pale redhead so I burn easily, I feel like I've tried every sun cream going but this is by far my favourite. The smell isn't great and it's very thick to apply, but once it's on it doesn't rub off and I know once I've got this on I won't burn, I've used this being outside all day in the sun in California, without even reapplying, and I've not so much as got slightly pink. And as an even bigger bonus, it doesn't make your white clothes end up yellow, like most sun creams do.
Fab sun cream. No burning and better for everyone
After learning of the potential damage that chemicals in popular suncreams can inflict upon marine life - coral in particular - I found this natural suncream that had generally very good reviews. We used it in Mexico in an area where the normal suncreams are banned due to conservation concerns and it worked a treat. It is just a little thicker, perhaps, than some suncreams to put on but even my husband, with quite hairy legs and arms, managed to spread it on without too much trouble. We are all fair skinned and have trouble with burning - we used to use a factor 50 suncream - however we didn't have a single burning incident with this suncream despite snorkelling for an hour or more at a time. Great all round!
the link between the chemicals in sun lotion and skin cancer really worries me. so happy to have a natural alternative!
worth paying more for
Works great on my childrens delicate skin, but more effort to rub in but worth the effort
Been using this on my two year old son since he was born. I'm paranoid about sun burn and try and keep him out of the sun as much as possible but he has other ideas. Don't need to worry about him burning when he's got this on though. It's brilliant. It absorbs well (doesn't leave a white residue like some natural sunscreens), protects skin from the sun and it isn't full of nasties like conventional sunscreen.
I buy this product every summer. Works well and it's Nature friendly. It won't absorb into your skin like most of chemical packed lotions do. However, its kind to my skin and once applied it's not visible. My pale skin is well protected without the need for nasties. We are used to quick fix solutions now days but they come with the cost to our health and to our planet. Even if it was as messy as the previous review suggests I would still use it for the sake of positive change. I love the texture and moisturising feel on my skin. Thumbs up for Green People.
