Excellent protein shake!

Ive been drinking these shakes for some time (usually when I dont have time to make one from scratch, or for when Im on the go). They provide a decent amount of protein per carton and taste very nice and non-artificial. I agree that the calorie content is higher than many other shakes on the market, however one of the reasons is because raw cane sugar is used as opposed to any of those vile artificial sweeteners (very commonly used in your standard protein bars and shakes/pre-blended protein powders to keep the calories down) - I steer well clear of these! This is a product that I would highly recommend and the best vegan one Ive tried.

High fat, low protein

At almost 15g of fat, this has almost as much fat as protein. The 20g of protein is barely sufficient (perhaps insufficient) bolus to stimulate muscle protein synthesis, and the high fat means both high calories compared to other options as well as slow protein absorption - quite aside from the fact that the protein source itself is poor quality compared to whey (low DIAAS). I guess if you're vegan then you have no choice - otherwise, best avoided, there are far better options if you care about refuelling properly after a workout in line with research-backed evidence.

Literally the best plant based protein shake I’ve had. Taste like a chocolate milkshake!

Best tasting shake Ive tried

Ive tried lots of shakes both vegan and cow's milk, but this has to be the best tasting i've tried. Reminds me of mint choc ice cream, will be a regular for me . I like the eco packaging too
