Harvey Nichols Alcohol Free Sparkling Chardonnay 75cl

£10.20
£1.36 per 100mlProduct information
Harvey Nichols Sparkling Chardonnay is a refreshing non-alcoholic sparkling wine made for us by Maggie Beer. A non-alcoholic wine made from the juice of Chardonnay grapes, Sparkling Chardonnay has the bead of Champagne and the mouth feel of a good wine. Aromas of passionfruit and sweet mango are complemented on the palate with ripe papaya and guava flavours, finishing with a crisp, dry note of fresh lime. Thought to suit those times when you want to drink with pleasure but avoid the alcohol effect, this refreshing drink is very food-friendly and will accompany fresh oysters, white fish and perfectly ripe soft cheese very well. Best enjoyed chilled and served in a champagne flute, it can also make a great alcohol-free spritzer when mixed with mineral water and crushed mint.

Disappointing
I have to agree with previous reviews - definitely tastes like Appletiser. Was hoping that it might be something to try on a regular basis but for the price, you’re better off with Appletiser instead
Too sweet
We were really disappointed with this. It tasted sweet and sugary ... no resemblance to a fine sparkling wine!
Basically expensive appletiser
I had high hopes for this, however I was quite disappointed. It doesn't taste bad, it's perfectly pleasant. It tastes just like appetiser!
much too sweet
Much too sweet. Given the price there are better alternatives out there.
sweet grape juice
Just buy normal sparkling grape juice, not what I thought it was going to be at all.
3 sips then down the drain...
Not for me. Possibly it was off, or maybe somebody who had recently had alcohol would like it but to me it tasted like cheap dirty whisky/brandy/vermouth with fruit flavours. Opened it at midnight last night to pop along with all the champagne and was so revolting I had to pour it down the drain. Very disappointed as I had assumed Harvey Nics wouldnt put their name to something poor. Shame. Much nicer ones on Ocado though for a FRACTION of the price.
