mmm
The thing with coffee is different results are obtained from all the many variables in making it. It's my current favourite made in a french press, 95 degree water and brewed for 4 minutes. Not weak at all. I buy on offer and prefer the tins for recycling reasons.
illy Brazil beans
These beans make a very weak coffee. not the best. I won't buy again.
Really impressive, rich and flavorful
Makes a rich and smooth espresso and a truly delicious Americano. Illy have a strong history of research into to the science of coffee beans and extraction and you can't really go wrong with their beans. I think they are the best value supermarket alternative to fresh-roasted beans from a specialist. The Monoarabica Brazil is one of my favourites from their range.
Watery and tasteless
Foolishly swayed by the reviews on here, I bought a tin. Usually our Jura machine, which makes a fab cup of coffee, takes Lavazza beans. I bought these for a change. I instantly regretted it and threw them out. I hate wasted food and money - but these are truly vile.
Surprised By Good Reviews !!!
We always grind our own beans and, swayed by good reviews, tried these. More fool, we!! Very bitter and yet oddly bland, with no rich or nutty hit. Dreadful, straight into bin. Will stick to Waitrose's Columbian beans, which are generally top notch.
Great Coffee
Love all Illy beans but these are my favourite. No bitterness. Lovely
