Curt Mast created Jägermeister over 80 years ago. He boldly took a new path. Today the new generation of the Mast Family are still committed to the extraordinary. So they have crafted something special based on the original 56 Jägermeister botanicals. Skilfully blended into five selected macerates, which are then refined with distillate matured in small, fresh oak barrels. The tradition of breaking with tradition is still going strong.
The Manifest liquid has very close ties with Jagermeister original, sharing the same base. However, the creation of Manifest involves a more complex process and a very specific ageing approach which takes significantly longer. Senses and flavours are sharpened through barrel ageing in toasted oak casks, giving a special matured taste. It's this combination of time and herbal liqueur expertise that helps make Manifest a unique, super premium product.
The wheat distillate matures in small oak casks for 15 months before macerating 5 times in more than 56 herbs and spices, at 250 times higher botanical load than Jagermeister original. Blending of this wheat distillate from different oak barrels takes 14 days with the final composition of Manifest taking 3 further days. The final stage involves filling and the hand applying the bottle decor.
Jagermeister Manifest is 38% abv, presented to you in a 1 Litre bottle and best consumed as a chilled shot at 6-8C or even as a classic cocktail, like a Negroni.

Good when on sale
Im not sure if I prefer it to the original but if it hits £35 on sale, its worth it. I think its a little sweeter than the original. Freeze it rather than drinking it at room temperature.
An acquired taste
Given this to review Not to my taste, to strong but my neighbours enjoyed it.
Nice in small amounts
We were sent this to review, pleasantly surprised as we are not really liqueur drinkers. Nice neat over ice.
Weird taste, definitely one for the “yooffs”
Not for me

Not something I would. usually buy (I received a bottle to review), however turned out to be a pleasant surprise and would recommend as. a useful addition. to your drinks armoury.
