Poor design, slips on tins and leaves jagged edges
Found this item quite bulky and was surprised to see the cutting wheel was totally protruding and uncovered, as most openers now have them either covered or protected when closed up for storage. The opener slipped on the tin and didn't remove the lid with the rim, so it was left ultra sharp and jagged. I was very disappointed with the design due to the open blade and the overal performance of the product, as it failed to open a tin safely.
Does what it says on the tin!
This is an excellent tin opener. Although it locks on sideways, which I don't like as much as the flat top type, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it turned easily and smoothly. I have bought nearly every other tin opener Ocado offers and they have all failed in my weak hands. But at long last I open tins!
Fantastic bit of kit!
I have been looking for a decent can opener for ages and this one is fantastic, my search has ended. This is more than a can opener as you can open pull cans and bottle tops with it too. I love the nifty way you can change its use by turning the handles over.
