Product information

Conventional salt and pepper mills often create mess by leaving excess grounds on surfaces when placed down. This simple, elegant design avoids this problem as the grinding mechanism is at the top of the mill, which means any excess grounds fall back inside the unit after use. The innovative design also does away with a long central spindle for the grinding mechanism, which increases its capacity and makes it much easier to fill.

So stylish absolutely a great item

I purchased this set to replace a previous ceramic set I had from the USA. These are definitely up there and can’t understand such a negative feedback. I have since purchased a second set. The first set is in the kitchen second set for the dining room table, They are stylish and elegant and leave no residue on the table as this Joseph Joseph set stand upright, so you turn upside down to use. Settings for finest to more a coarse salt or pepper is easy and gives you what you want Would definitely highly recommend. Joseph Joseph is a brand you can trust.

Promised so much - delivered so little

I thought I had found the perfect grinders from the pictures, the description & the brand - but sadly no. The dots on the top suggest you can set a particular grind but all they're for is to tell you which way to turn for bigger pieces - in theory. In practice, no matter how far you turn it you just get powder from the salt mill. Not even small grains of salt, powder, which then gets everywhere. The pepper one isn't much better, you do get bits of pepper but they're very small no matter how large you think you are making the pieces. Requesting a refund whilst I continue to search for that elusive perfect mill set.
