doesn't act like a mozzarella ball, more like soft cheese shaped in a ball
Stood up on an antipasti platter
Absolutely thrilled to have found this! Bursts, scoops and spreads just like a burrata and tastes lovely. I made an antipasti platter for a drinks party and this was served beside the real stuff so we could see both in action side by side: thrilled with how it went down. I currently cant eat dairy and have been missing Italian cheeses: delighted to have found such a tasty burrata replacement.
Soo Good
This is just as I remember the dairy version to be. So good, we pop it on top of a nice pasta dish, melts lovely.
Wet and soggy version of Superstaccia
Bought this as my fave Superstaccia was again out of stock. It's the same but with a skin and floating in a load of water. Soggy! Not for me.
great no-mozzarella
My goodness this is amazing. Its so much like dairy mozzarella I checked to make sure I hadnt got it wrong. Drain the liquid, pat dry and enjoy. I made a panini with this adding tomato and vegan pesto. Its delicious and melts well.
weird jelly like - not for me
I was curious to try this, with so many positive rave reviews! Just because its not for me doesnt mean others dont like it, clearly. Texture was so odd, like jelly with some little strands of something (coconut?), and while I try to eat as little dairy as I can, this isnt a substitute I will turn to again.
