great product
Similar to catit pea husk litter. No odour and less tracking from my giant Mainecoon. It does clump together so removal of urine is easy.
Brilliant and eco friendly
This litter clumps very very well, and clumps are well isolated. It smells pleasant to me and it completely absorbs urine/amonia smell. Eric took to it immediately and very little tracks out of the tray. I find one bag lasts ages and won't be swapping back to clay litter.
Not good at all.
Like another reviewer I found the smell of this really unpleasant. It also sets like concrete to the litter tray and is ridiculously overpriced.
Best Choice
Decided to try this cat litter as previous preferred choice Catsan was not lasting anytime at all lately. Katkin litter has impressed me as my senior ladies took to it straightaway & it has dealt with their constant use of the litter tray brilliantly. Easy to remove clumps & a pleasant smell are a nice surprise as Catsan & others werent able to cope even one day with my 2 girls & their toilet habits !!! Really happy as I no longer have that constant smell of tray use greeting me from the utility room and I would need to constantly change the litter now I can just remove the clumps easily.
Strange Smell
I had high hopes for this litter as all other reviews are 5 star. Unfortunately I hated the smell as soon as I opened the bag ( weirdly sweet aroma, almost stale small)! But the clincher was my cats reaction my cat went into the tray, sniffed all over and then started to eat it! I removed it immediately as its not worth risking her health. Ive gone back to my usual brand. Sadly this is definitely not for us.
Really the Best
Having tried every conceivable cat litter over the last nine years, this one really is the best. It is sweet smelling, and only tracks minimally. I would prefer it if it didnt stick to the side of the tray but is considerably better than clumping clay litter. This is a small price to pay for the other great benefits this litter is proving to have.
