This 1 litre bottle is great value for money. It's especially suitable for frequent use or for when large quantities are needed. You can use this to refill the 150ml Kikkoman Tamari Soy Sauce ""dispenser"" bottle with blue cap if wished. It's exactly the same sauce inside.
Just like Kikkoman's famous regular soy sauce, the tamari gluten-free soy sauce is fermented in a special process which takes several months. This results in a rich, aromatic flavour and high levels of umami which intensifies the taste of food it's added to.

Kikkoman Tamari Gluten-free Soy Sauce is the essential store-cupboard ingredient. You can use it instead of regular soy sauce (including light or dark soy sauce) in any recipe. Use as a cooking sauce for dishes such as stir-fries, stews and shepherds pie, or to add a final flourish to soups, salad dressings and sushi. And because Kikkoman tamari is especially rich in umami, a little goes a long way.

ok but not tamari
Its ok as a soy sauce but its definitely not tamari. I will use this as normal soy sauce and buy tamari from elsewhere.
Tasty, great value, kitchen staple
This is a really nice tamari. For recipes where you need significant quantities of the stuff, you can easily get through most of a small bottle for one dish. This is much better value and more convenient. As a coeliac who does a lot of Chinese cooking, I always have a bottle in my cupboard. Tend to decant into a smaller bottle as easier to work with.
no1
Best soy sauce. I prefer the flavour of this one rather than same brand regular soy sauce
Used to be my go to
This used to be my go to and I don't know if I have been spoilt by some others I have tried or if this has changed but to me this tasted just like really salty water with a dash of soy. Also, when I first opened the bottle it had a really beery smell, which I have never smelt on a soy sauce before. Hope it's not off but in any case I won't buy again and may actually pour this one away.
Great Tamari
Have been buying this for years and is a great tasting tamari soy sauce. Gluten free and tasty.
Love Kikko Tamari
I use a lot of soy sauce, especially Tamari. I use this bottle to refill the small Kikkoman bottle.
