Top lets it down
A nice little jar which I bought for salt, but the stainless steel is not of the higher quality to cope with this, rust starting in the lid and spoiling the salt unfortunately. Reverted to my Cole and Mason jar, making the holes a little larger to take larger grained salt, have had the Cole and Mason for over a year and no sign of rust. Not a good product for Kilner, need to review their material quality.

I thought this looked good for use with salt. Sadly not. The tops rusty and its barely been a week!
The top goes rusty quickly
The top does go rusty quickly, however, as I’m not using it for storing food items, this isn’t an issue for me, but if you want it for food then I suggest you don’t buy it
nice if not used
after a few months of daily use it got rusted and the rotating lid does not work propely.
Lovely jar with many uses.
I bought this to use as a dried chilli flake storer/shaker. It's great little jar with a shaker and pourer option and is a really good size for many uses. It looks good on the table as a server for sugar, grated parmesan or spices. I shall be adding a couple more to my collection.
Nice little jar
I bought this to use as a cocoa shaker for coffee. Even on the smallest shaker setting it dispensed too much. It's a nice glass jar though.
