Product information

This is a stylishly contemporary 8-cup cafetiere. This manual coffee press has a stainless steel lid and fine mesh filter, retaining the coffee's flavour whilst trapping grains. Made of strong borosilicate glass, it is thermal shock resistant and has guaranteed years of use. The plunger and filter are easy to remove and clean. It comes complete with a spare mesh filter and is gift boxed.

Dreadful quality

This arrived with a small divot and black inclusion in the rim. Fortunately Ocado refunded the cost, as this was a second at best. The lid is very flimsy and lightweight too. It was usable however, or so we thought. 3 washes in and the handle dropped off when I was pouring coffee. The handle is actually a stuck on part, not like any other cafetiere we've ever had. The handle came off with the pot mid air. The pot smashed down, spilling hot coffee all over me. Do not buy, this item is extremely poor quality and a stuck on handle is nothing but dangerous!
