Tasting Notes
A very pale and crystal‑bright in colour. Intense and complex on the nose with a wide range of aromas, including fruits (citrus and white fruit), flowers (honeysuckle) and iodine notes, which give off an impression of freshness. This airy and delicate wine of surprising length is characterised by high purity of taste, and a long and non‑saturating finish.
History
The House of Laurent-Perrier was founded in 1812 by André Michel Pierlot and took the name Vve Laurent-Perrier when Mathilde Emilie Perrier, the widow of Eugène Laurent, combined the two family names after she decided to expand the business. Eugénie Hortense Laurent, her daughter, inherited the House in 1925 and sold it to Marie-Louise Lanson de Nonancourt in 1939. Fired by a passion for champagne, a respect for traditional values and, most importantly, for people, Bernard de Nonancourt inspired Laurent-Perrier with his independent spirit and creative audacity. He established privileged working relationships with the grape growers and cleverly combined innovation and tradition. He created the signature Laurent-Perrier style of freshness, finesse and elegance and developed a unique range of champagnes which are today exported to more than 160 countries worldwide. His legacy lives on today through his daughters.
Regional Information
Champagne terroir covers a roughly 34,000 ha of vineyards, each one bringing together a combination of climate, soil & terrain. The production zone AOC was defined & delimited by a law passed in 1927. The terroir has two major features: northerly latitude & dual climate. The subsoil is mainly limestone with the addition of chalk & marl. This subsoil has good drainage & also adds that mineral taste to certain Champagnes. The moderately steep terrain offers perfect exposure to sunlight with added drainage.

Crisp and dry with a sophisticated flavour.
Best champagne. No added sugar so lovely and crisp. Great for summer drinking and compliments salads, fruit and many other foods.
