We created this recipe from scratch in our very first restaurant back in 2004. And it's still our most popular sauce. We use chipotle chillies and a hint of paprika to give the sauce its fruity, spicy warmth.

What chilli?

Very disappointing sauce. Expected better given the Brand name! Barely any chilli flavour, just tasted like tomato purée. Not nice at all. Threw it away.

Good Ketchup.

Nice tomato flavour. The chilli is subtle, warm rather than hot. It makes a pleasant change from regular ketchup, works well with sausages, burgers, etc.

Watery, mild

(This is our first spiced ketchup other than in a restaurant - so we have no comparison against other supermarket options.) Beware: it is surprisingly watery, compared with other mainstream ketchups. It has a very mild spice to it: fine for us but not for those seeking some extra oomph. Still, its something we will probably buy again.

Thin and tasteless

This should be provided in a spray bottle. It's watery and nearly tasteless, much like a lot of this overhyped brand..

Mild heat

I got this while it was on offer, half price. There’s only a couple of months left on it so maybe that was why? Anyway, decent enough. It was a mild heat to it, not too crazy & overbearing.
