I had never tried mocha before so didn’t know what to expect. These were lovely. The filling is lovely and smooth - no sugar crystals, and the outside sort of chewy and hard to describe. Definitely taste of passion fruit.
Mochi aren't going to appeal to everyone because the texture combination is unusual, but these are really tasty, fruity and refreshing balls. They defrost to an edible softness within a few minutes out of the freezer and although expensive in a small pack like this, it's super convenient to just whip out of the freezer on a hot day as a snack - whole pack is only 154 kcal, so not a massive indulgence.
What a fun treat. I bought this 2 pack try it out. The flavour inside is refreshing fruity and then the dough is almost chewy soft. I used my hands and got a bit messy but I loved eating it. I'm not going to rate down for this but they are very small for the price (put your index finger to your thumb and you get roughly the right size). Worth it though. Will buy a bigger value box and keep an eye out for when it's on offer. I'll be getting everyone I know to try them too.
